Taylor Richards & Conger

A reference to the stunning coast of northern France and the region's rich lacemaking traditions, this Japanese-based line of luxury weekend wear was launched by designer Yukari Suda in 1998. Working with handcrafted cotton, linen, and silk in warm, early colors,  Pas de Calais blends Japanese simplicity with French elegance in designs both rugged and romantic.

Designer Yukari Suda (above) says that much of the range's color palette and the store is inspire by the weather in the Pas De Calais, region of France, where it rains a lot. This aesthetic gives a calm, soothing and very naturalistic feel to the space.
